ProElut™ SCX
ProElut™ SCX sorbent has benzenesulfonic acid as a bonded functional group with a very low pKa. The presence of the benzene ring in the functional group increases its potential for non-polar interaction. The two properties are quite useful in the absorption of cationic organic compounds from aqueous systems where non-polar compounds are seen.
